2024 Scholarships

The CDCA is pleased to offer four (4) scholarships for Capital Region students. These scholarships are made available to local students who are enrolling at a Capital Region undergraduate institution. 

Applicants must be from the Capital Region and plan to attend a Capital Region
college. The Capital Region includes the counties of Albany, Columbia, Fulton,
Montgomery, Greene, Rensselaer, Schenectady, and the southern part of Saratoga

 

2024 Application Form

A complete application package must include:

  1. The application form, essay, current transcript(s) and a letter of recommendation from a teacher or school counselor must be mailed together in one complete package/e-mail.
  2. Official transcript(s) must be the most complete and current transcript available, in a sealed envelope with a signature written across the seal. Transcript(s) must indicate a minimum B (3.0) average in the current academic
  3. Recommendation letter from a teacher or school counselor must be in a sealed envelope with a signature written across the seal if coming via postal mail. If the transcript is submitted via e-mail, it needs to come directly from the school counselor or member of the school staff/faculty.

The application packet or email should be postmarked NO LATER THAN MAY 1, 2024

Scholarships Announced:

Winners will be notified in early June if they have been awarded a CDCA scholarship.
